Natural stone bathroom with pebble mosaic shower floor and stone vessel sink
Application

Bathroom

Sliced pebble shower floors, hexagon and herringbone mosaic, stone vessel sinks and marble cladding.

Wet-area stone that performs as well as it looks.

Bathrooms concentrate the technical demands: constant water, thermal cycling, cleaning chemicals, and barefoot slip resistance — all in a small area with a lot of cut edges.

Sliced pebble is the standard shower-floor specification because the many grout joints give real grip while the flat top face stays comfortable. Small-module mosaic falls cleanly to a waste. Stone vessel sinks and matching wall cladding complete the room from one supplier.

Specification notes

Small modules for shower floors

25–48 mm hexagon or sliced pebble. More grout lines mean better grip and a floor that can actually fall to the waste.

Waterproof behind the stone

Stone is not the waterproofing layer. A correctly detailed membrane behind it is essential regardless of material.

Seal, and tell the end user

Marble and limestone need sealing and no acidic cleaners. Supply the care note with the product.

Budget grout for pebble

Pebble mosaic takes two to three times the grout of flat tile. Under-ordering grout stalls installation.
